TSUMA is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 12 noon. Currently we are not open on the weekend.
Walk-ins are always welcome. The cost is $5.00 per person.
Docent presentations for groups can be made through the TSU Administrative Offices. The presentation usually lasts from an hour to an hour and a half with time after to explore the museum on your own. The cost of a group presentation is $10.00 per person. To book - call 505-332-4253.
Children from the fourth grade and up are welcome at the museum.
The museum exhibits a remarkable range of artifacts from the Neolithic-Chalcolitic Age to the Early Roman Age. Artifacts from the Tall el-Hammam Excavation Project are also on display. The exhibits are arranged chronologically and bring visitors on a journey through biblical times. The museum has an extensive timeline to help guide you through the ages of the artifacts on display.
Yes, there are several restaurants in the Marketplace at Journal Center where you can have lunch. There are other restaurants just a few blocks away as well. So, come visit the museum and go have lunch or vis-versa.
